Find and insert data from another sheet into the first

could you help me, i faced such situation, i have a column in one sheet (may contain empty rows), according to this column i need to pull data from another sheet and insert this information in next to column in first sheet. For example, if the first column of the first sheet contains the word cat, then it will definitely be in the second sheet, but I need to pull out the data of the adjacent column in the second sheet and insert it into the first and yes, sorry for my English
