Hi, I am doing research about RPA and I was wondering can anyone give me examples of finance and accounting tasks or processes that are automated by attended automation (front office robots)? And why was attended automation chosen for the purpose?

From my experience within Accounting, we chose unattended automation. I don’t really see a benefit to attended automation, because the work we are trying to eliminate is all the pre-processing, downloading of POD documents and uploading to customer, cash application, or finding payment statuses and further researching to some degree. This allows the associates to do more fun work. If we were to do all this automation while the associate is watching or interacting with the automation, it kind of defeats the purpose of eliminating all this boring work! 
But that’s just what I think.
