File downloaded in vm is only saved as tmp

Hi,

I downloaded files from chrome new page and use type into into the Save As popup

While testing in vm, the pdf files are only downloaded as tmp file.

Kindly advice on this or if there’s options i can utilize.

Hi @syezids

make sure you have enabled the option to always save your downloads

also remember to use the wait for download activity properly

I guess you are checking before the file is downloaded…

Use wait for download for waiting for completely downloading…in that you have options to ignore tmp extensions as well and wait till complete download

Alternately check if you click if the extension is taken properly or not

Manually are you able to save?

hi, this settings does not work in vm as bot is working in its own environment, instead of the vm.
but i have use wait for download and is working now. thanks for input!
