Facing issue while image automation

Hi ,

when i am connecting from one remote desktop to another I am facing issue recording the pixcels for the image automation.
When the screen is shared to some one the automation is not detecting the image due to the screen resolution change.
It will be very helpful if any one can share a solution for screen resolution issue.

Hi,

If you are working with Image Automation then the resolution has to be the same. In case that you know that are 2 resolution all the time for that image, then you can use the parallel activity to threat both scenario (with both image, for 2 different resolutions).

Hi @bhavana, maybe it would work to play a bit with Launch Workflow Interactive activity (UiPath.Core.Activities.InvokeWorkflowInteractive), where you can set the resolution, what was suggested here Display resolution by jibanjyoti.

In my project I am doing citrix automation because that is available in Remote Desktop.

I need to connect from my machine to RDP server and from I need to do my automation.

Here I am facing issues below.

  1. At the time of sharing the screen through Skype for business, we get one pin image that can be hide in normal machine(CPU based machine) but
    this features is disabled in our virtual machine and hence UiPath is not able to recognise the widow.

2. If we share our screen through WebEx, It shows one action bar at the top which cannot be hide and hence UiPath is not able to recognise actual window.

Another issue like resolution is changing from one system to another system.Please suggest how can we maintain screen resolution for different machine in citrix based automation.

Sorry, but I don’t understand exactly your problem. Can you explain me in details what do you want to do in the Remote Desktop?

Hi,

While doing from one RDP to another the screen resolution changing. Uipath.Setting file is not there in my uipath. Please suggest any solution to maintain the same resolution for different machines.
