Extract checkbox answers from an excel file, where i only want specific answers, made into new excel file

Hi Community first time making a topic and prefacing i consider myself a novice even though i’ve worked with uipath for the past year on and off.

In the attached file I’m trying to extract answers from different checkbox evaluations, and i want to pull the data where the users have answered with " ☒ ". The questions asked are not of the same case between each user.

Test Excel.xlsx (12.9 KB)

End result would be each row contains 3 columns, with 1; original question. 2; E answer with Column value as a number from “Faglige læringsmål” row. L answer, Column value as a number from “faglige læringsmål” row again and be useable to be uploaded to a database in that new form. The file is later to be uploaded to a database for someone else to work with.

This is just a test excel file i use, the original excel file will contain forms from many users, with each form containing around 20 or so questions.

Kind Regards

Let us give you a few hints and helpful links.

First, make sure you browsed through our Forum FAQ Beginner’s Guide. It will teach you what should be included in your topic.

Clicking the options button will let you set more specific topic search filters, i.e. only the ones with a solution.

  2. Topic that contains most common solutions with example project files can be found here.

  3. Read our official documentation where you can find a lot of information and instructions about each of our products:
