External Data in Insights

Hi Everyone,

We are maintaining an external database to store the transaction status and details of BOTs. It would be almost similar to queue, but there are cases where, for processes with bulk items (let’s say 5,000) we add only one item to queue, and all 5,000 items in Database. We are currently maintaining a Dashboard in PowerBI which gets the data from our Database. So these cases would show 5,000 transactions. We would like to use Insights, but not sure if there are anyways we can get the data from an external Database instead of UiPath database/orchestrator.

If someone has a solution or workaround, I’m curious to know. We are using Automation Suite 23.10.

Current Insights version doesn’t support connect to external data source. You need to pass all data via Robot logs.

You now have to the option to configure real-time data export between insights and other BI tools, please look at the below documentation.

Best you could do is take this data and combine it in power bi.
