Executing VBScript or JScript files

From within UiPath how can I execute a script file stored on a server location?.

You can use the Start Process or Open Application, and call the exe that runs the script. Use the script file as an argument.

For vbscript, you would call the “C:\Windows\System32\cscript.exe” I think. Then, put the path to the .vbs file as the argument.

However, there could be an issue with runas admin, so you might need to Invoke a Powershell script that calls it instead.

Also, depending on what the vbscript is doing, you can explore the Invoke VBA, but that is usually used in an Excel Scope.

Anyway, give that a shot and come back with any issues.
