Excel UI - Get Text from Formula Bar or Name Box

Hello everyone,

Trying to get the text from the Name Box or the Formula Bar in Excel is unfortunately not possible for me. I already tried a lot with the Ui Explorer, but can’t find the necessary text property.

Has anyone already managed to address the right item and can tell me the corresponding selector?

That’s a bit of a weird field to get the text from. I would suggest to try to avoid it but if you really need it use a Click Activity and a Get Text Activity.

What would be the best way, to check if a certain cell is empty or not? I have to use the Excel UI in this case.

Maybe you could use Invoke VBA?
