I am designing workflow for the excel activities. I wnats to select the range in the excel but excel is not opening.

Do you have an excel opened?
please note that to be able to indicate, you need to have it opened first.
It works similar way like web browser. when you want to indicate an element, you need to have the browser opened first so you can indicate the same.
Please note: clicking on indicate doesn’t open the file/browser but works on already opened file/browser.
Please open the excel file you are trying to indicate from and then use indicate feature.
After giving filepath the excel in scope activity after that open excel file manually and then start indicating excel activities in child activities.
Make sure you have the Excel Add on installed
Also give it sometime to load for first time indicating.
