Excel File could not find in citrix environment, if i change the name

Hi,

I am trying to do excel activities in Citirx Recording, i can able to find the excel(which is on desktop), even if i change the location, but the workflow could not find the excel file, if i change the excel file name…i tried with selector by changing the name to " * " but still, it didn’t work.

Please resolve.

I believe, If you are do the automation in a citrix environment then it basically works as an image automation. Does your image for the excel file contains the filename as well.?

yes, let’s say file name is “sample”, it will open for first time but if change the name to something else, it wont be able to open while running…is there any way, to open the file even if we change the complete name?
