Excel Data Input and Updating Web Portal using IE versions

Hi,

We have a simple process to read the data from excel and update portal using IE. Ui Path has all generic variables created while automating the Web portal entry using Web Recording.

Question is - Diff versions of IE are behaving diffrently while entering the data in the web portal. Some functions like send windows messages properly run and able to save the data, some not.

Even in excel also some columns are Generic some text, does this and IE versions have any bearing on how the data in interpreted and updated in the Web portal?
