Excel Automation - Studio Version Differences

Hi Members,
Has anyone experienced this issue?

When trying to replicate the below exercise on my own in Studio, I am seeing some differences. I can see a folder icon in Excel activities after opening the json project file (left side of the snip) but as soon as I copy the entire sequence into a new sequence, the folders disappear (right side). I prefer having these folders as it offers a quick way of building expressions when automating Excel.

The below solution was written in an older version of Studio. I am using the latest 2026.0 version of studio with both UiPath.Excel.Activities package and Excel Add-in installed.

Hi @Gulom

When you open project from project.json. What version of excel activities are installed in the project?

And I assume you are copying to a new project? What is the version of excel activities in this project where you are copying the sequence?

It’s continuous process of evolving changes in the user experience. I know it’s was very easy and handy feature but it’s not available in the latest package.
