Excel Activities for Processing and Filtering v1.2

Hi everyone, i’d like to share the NEW version to my custom activity. Feel free to use it and ask any questions

for v1.0,1.1 thread :

v1.2 functions
(1) Find values in column range

Input

  • in_columnRangeToSearch (string) - columns to search, leave blank to search whole sheet
  1. “” : searches whole sheet
  2. “B:B” only search column B
  3. “A:B,C:E” search columns A-B and C-E
  • In_excelPath (string) – excel path
  • In_sheetName (string) – sheet name
  • valueToFind – value to search

Output

All cells where value is found, separated by comma

Output = “A4,A9”

(2) Find and replace substring in column

Input

  • in_columnToFind(string) - can be the column letter “A”, or the name of the column header “e.g. Heading5”, if you input “Heading5” the robot will find the column where header = “Heading5”
  • In_excelPath (string) – excel path
  • In_sheetName (string) – sheet name
  • findWhat = string to find
  • replaceWith = replacement string
  • In_headerRow (int) – the row where the header is at ( default = 1)
