Error while using Abbyy OCR

Hi All,

I am getting these type of error

Read PDF With OCR: Error performing OCR: AbbyyErrorNotInstalled

if there’s a solution please let me know.

Is Abby ocr installed in your machine
This error usually occurs only when it is not installed
We need license to install it
Kindly check that once pls

Well I can’t assure anyone that not officially licensed version will work with UiPath. Please check the documentation:

I wouldn’t say there is the only one universal. Some OCR engines works better with image, some with text. ABBYY offers more adjustments if you will combine UiPath and their product together where other free engines are more limited.

Try using other engines as well - OmniPage (package on official feed) is very good and needs no license.

It didn’t return the correct format of document from PDF file using OmniPage.

Is there any other OCR Engine let me know it.
