How to troubleshoot "Error while running the job from Orchestrator : Executor start process failed, reason System.Runtime.lnteropServices.COMException (Ox800702E4): The requested operation requires elevation. (Exception from HRESULT: Ox800702E4)" error message?

Troubleshooting Steps

  • Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\UiPath\Studio and then Right Click on UiPath.Executor.exe

  • Click on Properties

  • Navigate to Compatibility Tab

  • Uncheck the Run this program as Administrator option if it is checked and click on OK

  • If Run as Administrator option is greyed out, then click on Change settings for all users

  • Uncheck the Run this program as Administrator option if it's checked and click on OK


    In case if the issue still persists, then check with local internal IT team to ensure the access is allowed for Robot user to perform action or if there is a policy blocking to change the elevated access.
