Had a quick google of the issue but… here I am.
I have the latest terminal activities installed and am trying to use the IBM Personal Communications as the Provider with a selected profile I wish to use for the connection.
What I keep getting when I “Start Recorder” is the error message
Do I need to have my terminal session running and logged in or…
Did you try with your terminal session running?
I suggest using direct connection instead of a third party client. Much simpler and more reliable.
I would love to do that personally and completely agree, unfortunately, the business is not that great as supporting us as developers 
Huh? You don’t need anything from anyone, direct connection is one of the options in the Terminal Session wizard.
IP addresses etc, anyways I have that now…
Next issue is that I can set text on the Username entry, but cannot select the password field therefore cannot set the password text ?
I use Move Cursor to put it where I want before typing.
OK now im getting somewhere…
BUT
How do you get around the fact that you have to start from the beginng everytime you use the recorder
or even keeping the terminal session open each time you debug
