When trying to connect to a Mainframe Terminal using Terminal Activities, an error "Error connecting terminal: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80040154): Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {4EB971C3-00D0-11D5-903D-00105AABADD3} failed due to the following error: 80040154 Class not registered" is thrown.
Issue Description: When tried connecting to a Mainframe Terminal using Terminal Activities, an error "Error connecting terminal: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80040154): Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {4EB971C3-00D0-11X5-903D-00105XXXXXXX3} failed due to the following error: 80040154 Class not registered" is thrown.
Root Cause: It may be that Rocket Terminal v10 is not compatible with the Bluezone provider
Emulator: Rocket TE VT v10.1.4.4592
Resolution:
- Try with the Direct Connection by replicating the settings from BlueZone in the connection setting screen.
As shown in the above screenshot, provide Address, Port, and LU Name also make sure to Enable SSL/TLS.
