@honghong1

Do you already have UiPath installed on your system?

If yes did you completely remove it?

If no may I know which msi you are using community/trail/enterprise

@honghong1

The error message “Error 1310. Error writing to file” usually occurs when the installer is unable to write to a specific file or directory due to insufficient permissions.

Get that particular folder accessed to read or write into it.

Hi @honghong1

Can you manually create the file and ensure that it has the necessary permissions. You can do this by navigating to the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Programs\UiPath\Studio\net461 directory in Windows Explorer, right-clicking on an empty space within the folder, selecting “New” > “Text Document”, and then renaming the file to UiPath.ActivityPreprocessor.CommandLine.exe.config .

Then, right-click on the file, select “Properties”, and ensure that the appropriate permissions are set.

Thanks!!

This should be fixed in the upcoming 23.4.1
