EmptyField property for Type into activity is not working

Why is not the EmptyField property working?
Should it not clear the type into activity each time before something is typed into it?
In this case it does not, it just append the text to the old text!

I am using Internet Explorer.
Any suggestion on what could be wrong?
Does anyone have a workaround?

Hello there,
Uncheck SimulateType(simulate check clear before typing hence empty Field doesn’t make any sense here. )

PS: make sure to give some delay before typeinto activity.
