I am using StudioX 2024.10.14 LTS.

Within the ExcelForEachRow activity, I am repeatedly opening the same Edge window using NApplicationCard. The Edge window opens at the design size the first time, but from the second repetition onwards, it gets minimized to the task tray. The Edge application is functioning without any issues while minimized in the task tray.

By having the Edge window minimized in the task tray from the second repetition onwards, will the risk of the workflow stopping be mitigated, regardless of the size of the Edge window during processing?

What does it mean to be stored in the task tray? Is it merely minimized?
I think it really depends on the target operation, so it can’t be generalized. However, if it’s configured to perform only background operations like Chromium API or Simulate without any image recognition, it won’t depend on the window size, so I don’t think stability would improve because of that. (Creating it that way would lead to stability, and as a result, it would still function even when minimized.)

This is the state after clicking the - in the image. I think storing in the task tray means minimized, but are there other minimized states?

In general, that is not how it is referred to. The task tray (though this is not its official name in Win11) refers to the area below:

So what do we call the red circle in the attached image?

That area is the taskbar.
