Why can't Edge WebDriver be downloaded automatically successfully?
Issue Description:
In the 'Open Browser' activity using with Edge browser, 'AutomaticallyDowloadWebDriver'set as ture, if the Edge browser was upgrade to 125.0.2535.85 or hight version. Error message 'The specified browser requires a newer WebDriver but there was an error downloading it' might be encountered.
Root Cause:
New edge update mirror for the newest web driver linkage is broken at the Microsoft level so manual intervention and the addition of a proper web driver are needed.
Resolution:
Follow the steps below to download the WebDriver manually.
1. Please kindly download correct version of edgewebdriver using the following link.
Microsoft Edge WebDriver | Microsoft Edge Developer
2. After that, please unzip it and put the msedgedriver.exe file in the following location.
Download Folder Location - C:\Users\{user}\AppData\Local\UiPath\WebDriverExe
3. Then you need to add the above location to the PATH environment variable and reboot the machine.
