I am experiencing an intermittent issue with the ‘UiPath Web Automation Extension for Microsoft Edge’ on Windows 11.
Issue Description
Occasionally, when launching Microsoft Edge, the browser displays the following message for the UiPath extension:
“UiPath extension has been corrupted and has been disabled.”
After reinstalling the extension through UiPath Assistant → Browser Extension → Microsoft Edge, the extension works again. However, the same issue randomly reappears after some time.
Troubleshooting Attempted
I have already tried:
- Removing and reinstalling the extension from UiPath Assistant
- Restarting Edge and Windows
- Checking enterprise policies (
edge://policy)
Despite these steps, the issue continues to occur intermittently.
