Hi! @Sidney

Follow the steps…

S1:- Open Studio->Tools->Edge

S3:- Install the extension.

Hi @THIRU_NANI

Thank you so much for your reply.
I’ve already tried, and Studio displayed “extension is installed successfully”.(Sorry for Japanese Scr Image.)
However error was not resolved.

Sidney

May i know which version of the edge you are using?

Edge version is “94.0.992.50”.

++adding @ishizukato ,my colleague, in our loop.

Please can you take a snap of your uipath extension.

once check these options which is enabled in your pc or not

Thank you for sharing.
As checking, setting is same.

Do one thing

delete UiPath extension from the edge

and do the following

Open edge->Settings->Reset Settings->Restore to their default values ->Reset

now

Hello @Sidney !

The error message you are getting says that something on your machine is preventing the “native part of the extension” (ChromeNativeMessaging.exe) from working correctly.

That something is usually the NativeMessagingBlocklist Group Policy.
To check this open in Edge the URL edge://policy, and see if NativeMessagingBlocklist is present.
If it is, you’ll need to whitelist the UiPath Native Messaging Host as described here:
Edge Group Policies (uipath.com)

Hi @Marius_Stan CC @Tom_it

Thank you for reply.
As far as I checked, edge policy is configured correctly.
However I can’t still install.
Let me attach edge policy image, so could you confirm whether there is problem?

Regards
Sidney

Have you tried this?

@THIRU_NANI

Sorry for late reply.
I’ve tried, however it didn’t work correctly.

Sidney

Hello @Sidney !

First, let me apologize for replying so late.

Your screenshot of the edge://policies shows that you do not have the NativeMessagingBlocklist Group Policy.
This means that something else is causing your issue.

The next likeliest cause is the ComSpec environment variable.
This must have the value “C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe”
To check this go to:
Windows Start Menu → Search “Edit the System Environment variables” → Environment Variables

Please reply back with the value of this variable on your machine.

Hi @Marius_Stan CC @Tom_it

Thank you for your reply.
I checked ComSpec environment variable as you said.
And I attached scr image.
Could you confirm it?

Regards
Sidney

Hello @Sidney !

The value of the environment variable is correct.
This means we must look deeper into the cause of this issue.
Would you be available for a Zoom meeting to investigate this on your machine?
Just send me a couple of time slots at which you are available, and I’ll send you a Zoom meeting invite.

Regards,
Marius
