Dynamic Schedule of Bot

I want to schedule the bot dynamically.
For ex: The bot runs at a particular time and reads a sheet containing schedule and in the sheet it’s written 2PM Tuesday and 4PM Wednesday, so the bot should be triggered on these two times.
How can that be accomplished?

We can define this in a schedule tab in orchestrator with CRON option under advanced schedule option itself
like we can define with two schedules For the same process with expression as

0 0 14 ? * TUE *

And another one with expression as

0 0 16 ? * WED *

@Palaniyappan This will not work as the sheet will always not have this value, it may change, so we will have to read the sheet and then make the schedule.

It’s possible to use Orchestrator API to trigger a job. As such, you could have a separate tiny process that reads the Excel file every 5 minutes or so and triggers the main job if the cells were updated.

Hi @Anmol_Yadav

Why you want to make complex the thing, just create one variable in the start of the process .

Read the excels , can check there is data or not with excel read / or read cell value , etc. there is alot you can use.

if find data ,run if not don’t run.

hope it helps.

I know that. i am asking the solution for the same. how to do it? has someone implemented it ever?

That’s the business scenario, i have to schedule it via orchestrator API only.
