Downloading excel spreadsheets

Hi everyone,
can you please assist here, I am trying to download excel spreadsheet from outlook email but then it also downloads some png and gif images which I do not want…

If you want to download only Excel files from an email without saving other attachments, you can use the filter property in the Save Attachments activity.

  1. Use the “Get Outlook Mail Messages” activity to get your emails.
  2. Add a For Each loop to iterate through each email.
  3. Inside the loop, use “Save Attachments” with a filter that will only save files with the .xlsx or .xls extension.
    You can use this pattern:
    .*\.(xlsx|xls)$

Activities - Save Email Attachments

This way, the bot will save only the Excel files, skipping other attachments like PNG or GIF.

In properties panel check the checkbox for exclude inline attachments
