I was previously using an Enterprise Edition Automation Developer license. Due to a change in requirements, I need to switch back to the Community Edition. I uninstalled the original Studio and installed the Community Studio, but now it shows that my account was downgraded to an Express user, and I cannot open robots that were originally created with the Enterprise edition. Could you please advise on how to resolve this?
Hi,
You can go to UiPath Assistant and disconnect from Orchestrator
Point to be noted here is that, Community license is only for exploring, learning UiPath products.
Now regarding how to get the Community license, you will have to delete the Orchestrator Organization and recreate a new one. While doing it, you will be loosing your data from the current organization.
Thank you for your reply. Then I can’t use the robot previously developed with the enterprise version of Studio. How should I solve this problem? ![]()

Do you still have your Enterprise licence? If so you can for sure use the Community version of studio using that Enterprise licence.
Otherwise, if you want to use a community licence, its for non-commercial work so its likely you’d violate the TOS to use it on these projects you made with the Enterprise licence.
What is the change in requirements you mentioned originally?
Thank you for your reply. If I can no longer use the Enterprise License, do I have to redevelop the robot with Automation Express License?
Enterprise is a licence model, rather than an individual licence for a single task.
So you need an enterprise licence in some form. After that you need one of the paid licences that allow you to use Studio, they have different names depending on if you are on the Flex Plan or Unified Plan (both are enterprise plans) there is also the Monthly plan which should give you a valid licence to use.
