I have a question about licensing. So my company have 2 licenses so there is 2 license keys, the first one applied to Host level and allocate the robots to tenant A. And the second license applied to tenant level in tenant B. If I had to update the Host level license (the first one) with new license would it affect my Tenant level license in tenant B(the second one) ?
Host License: The Host license is applied at the Orchestrator Host level. It allows you to allocate robots to different tenants within the Orchestrator. This license determines the total number of robots you can have across all tenants in your Orchestrator instance.
Tenant License: The Tenant license is applied at the individual tenant level. It allows you to define the number of robots and other resources available within a specific tenant. Each tenant operates independently, and its license allocation is separate from other tenants.
With this understanding, if you update the Host level license (the first one), it should not directly affect the Tenant level license in tenant B (the second one). The two licenses are separate and apply to different levels within UiPath Orchestrator.
When you update the Host level license, it may change the total number of robots you can allocate across all tenants, but the allocation within each tenant should remain unaffected. The license allocation for tenant B should only be impacted if you modify the license settings specifically for tenant B.
