Does Enabling Retention Period Settings Apply to Existing Recordings or Only to New Recordings?
Issue Description: Enabling the retention period settings raises questions about whether this will apply to both existing recordings and new ones generated after the settings are enabled.
Resolution: The retention period settings apply to both existing recordings and those created after the settings are enabled. If the retention setting is not enabled, recordings will be retained as long as there is available storage space.
However, once the setting is enabled, any recordings older than seven days from the current date will be deleted. To preserve important recordings, back them up to a different location before enabling the retention settings, as all recordings beyond the retention period will be deleted.
