Document Type Code in the Taxonomy mananger

Hi
I have set up a variety of forms in the Taxonomy and assigned them all a Document Type code.

I would like to use this document Type code after the data has been validated as it will follow a different workflow depending on the code.

I have looked in the classification results , Extracted data Results, Validated Results but cannot find it any where .

Can some one please advise me as to where this code is used and how i can obtain it in the workflow for each validated document in the file that is being processed.

Thanks :slight_smile:

This was two and a half years ago. I still can’t see the Document Type Code in any of the classification output. Update please.

@loginerror is there someone who can give us an answer on this?

Hello @postwick ,

Indeed we did not include it in the classification results as there are workarounds for getting this code.

Once you have a classification result, you have the DocTypeID - and you can search for the Code in the taxonomy using something like

string docTypeCode = taxo.DocumentTypes.Where(d => d.DocumentTypeId == classifResult.DocumentTypeId).Single().OptionalUniqueIdentifier;

We have decided to not add the DocTypeCode until we have some extra changes for the ClassificationResult object. If this is still an issue, I would love to get together and understand the need. Feel free to contact me directly to setup a call if you wish.

Thanks,

Ioana
