Hi guys,
I have recently started training in RPA and it is becoming some difficult for me , Well my question is should i choose RPA as an career or will any AI components will overcome this automation in the future or is there any future scope for this.
Please guys be honest , I am willing to put all my efforts if its good for a future carrer.
Hey @Sai_Ganesh_p_v
Without much context to your skills, education, learning curve is hard to tell if the RPA is suitable for you or not but as per my experience, RPA is still a good choice for carrer.
Regarding will AI replace the RPA, no it will not replace but RPA is evolving with AI. Try asking ChatGPT “What is AgenticAI in UiPath” you will get the idea what’s going on with RPA + AI
Still before proceeding further, I would suggest to seek guidance from an industry expert. You can easily find them on platforms like Topmate.
All the very best
Do you mind sharing what it difficult for you in the learning?
The answer to that might help us give more useful and honest feedback on this question.
Regarding it as a future career.
I think RPA as its currently build will be considered legacy in 3-4 years.
People still work as if its 2020 in RPA and, by large, can get away with that, but I think AI powered things will change alot.
Will it mean RPA will be dead? No, I dont think so, but the way we build the RPA will change alot.
The question perhaps comes down to, do you want to learn it once, then be done with it and expect a stable job doing the same thing for 20 years? If so then RPA is a terrible choice.
If you want something that might have a career in 10 years, again. Terrible choice as its so hard to see that far ahead in any tech industry.
But, if you want something you can keep learning, and evolve your skills as the technology does, then its entirely likely you can still have a job in 5 years.
