What is the features difference between automation suite and automation cloud in regard to AI Centere?
These are diffferences between automation cloud and suite in general. I want to know details in AI Center specifically.
@ashokkarale please help
Yes, there are specific differences between UiPath Automation Cloud and UiPath Automation Suite regarding the usage of AI Center. Here are some key points of differentiation:
- Deployment:
- Automation Cloud: AI Center is available as a fully managed service, meaning UiPath handles most of the infrastructure, maintenance, and updates. This allows for quicker setup and less overhead.
- Automation Suite: AI Center must be installed and managed on your own infrastructure, which can be on-premises or in your private cloud. This setup provides more control but requires more IT resources for maintenance and scalability.
- Scalability:
- Automation Cloud: Scalability is largely managed by UiPath. Users benefit from the elastic nature of the cloud, allowing them to scale up or down based on demand without worrying about underlying infrastructure.
- Automation Suite: Scalability depends on your infrastructure. Users need to plan and manage the scaling of AI Center components according to their needs.
- Accessibility:
- Automation Cloud: AI Center is accessible from anywhere with an internet connection, providing flexibility for remote teams.
- Automation Suite: While still accessible, it may require additional VPNs or secure access methods, depending on your organization’s security setup.
- Updates and Maintenance:
- Automation Cloud: Updates and patches are automatically applied by UiPath, ensuring that you are always using the latest features and security updates.
- Automation Suite: Updates and maintenance are handled internally, giving you control over when and how updates are deployed.
- Data Security and Compliance:
- Automation Cloud: Managed by UiPath, which ensures compliance with various global standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2). Ideal for organizations without stringent data residency requirements.
- Automation Suite: Suitable for organizations requiring high control over their data due to compliance needs or data residency requirements. You can configure and manage data security policies as needed.
- Integration with Existing Systems:
- Automation Cloud: Easier and faster to integrate with cloud-native applications and services.
- Automation Suite: More flexibility to integrate with on-premises systems and legacy infrastructure.
For a comprehensive overview of AI Center usage in both UiPath Automation Cloud and Automation Suite, you might find topics discussed in the forum helpful, such as:

I have Used UiPath Forum LLM to write this answer.
As per my understanding and knowledge, Automation Suite provides same capabilities of AI Center and every other functionality. If we look at the infrastructure of both, Automation Suite is nothing but replica copy of the UiPath Cloud but hosted on our own cloud infrastructure and needs to be maintained by ourselves.
If you go through the latest release note of the Automation Suite, you can see all the feature same as Cloud.
Thanks,
