Hello,

what is approximatively the developpement charge for SAP BPI Uipath activities using versus Classic SAP ones, will be it increase, decrease, what percentage?

In super simple words:

  • SAP WinGUI is an easy task, you can start automation immediately
  • SAP BAPI is a technical discipline and require some kind of SAP understanding.

Benefits of API are in the picture above:
speed, resilience, scalability → but initial effort is higher than with UI automation.

thank you for this information, but can we use the Uipath process assesment to estimate the chagre of BAPI developpement? is there a tool?

I do not understand your question “estimate the chagre of BAPI developpement”, can you elaborate more on it? what are you looking for? what does it mean?

Hello Lev,
I had until now the Uipath process assesment, for medium process i get 230 hour/man as impelemtation effort, but it is based on the classic uipath automatisation approche, i’m new on the SAP BAPI field, and want to know for a medium process what is the developpement charge?

Hi @abdel

There is no calculator, which can give a right answer. BAPI can be easy, like Reset User Password, or it can be very complex, like BAPI Create Purchase order.

It heavily depends on the use case
