Dev Server Setup

Hello everyone,

We a have a new Development server for UiPath projects. We have a non-production Orchestrator and studio licenses. We are thinking to install Orchestrator on the server and the studio on our respective workstation.

However, I saw some posts that the studio is also in the server with the orchestrator. Is this the ideal setup? I would also like to know if we still need SQL Server for development

Yes, it is fine to install Orchestrator on the server and the studio on our respective workstation.

Thanks @Parth.Kadia for your reply. Do we still need the SQL server? I also want to know why is it necessary.

You need to SSL certificate for Orchestrator setup that’s why you need SQL server.
