Hi,
Can delete queue items activity only delete new items? or any status items for example failed etc.

If you are using Cloud Orchestrator, we can now delete any status queue items. You can try it yourself on a dummy queue.

Is it possible to delete In Progress items also?

Hi @A_Learner

Delete queue items activity can delete the Transaction items which is in New state only. For your reference I am attaching screenshot of documentation,

Sorry, I am totally confused.

I am able to set “In Progress” queue items to failed status in my code and was able to delete the “Failed” queue items. Is this incorrect approach? I am using 2022.10

Please clarify.

So the diagram should help.

Yes as also mentioned in the diagram:
From inProgress → Failed - Failed is within the Boundary of green Block :point_right: Item can be deleted
