Degradation of free trail of enterprise service to community version

Hi UiPath Team ,

i Have tried the Enterprise service last year , now am unable to use the UiPath studio , all my practice project got locked due to license issue , request you to degrade my account with community version

Hi @prasadvinay27

You can follow the below video

Regards,

@prasadvinay27 This looks like a licensing issue after the Enterprise trial expired.

First, check Automation Cloud → Admin → Licenses and see what license is currently assigned to your user.

Then try signing out from UiPath Studio/Assistant, close them completely, reopen, and sign in again with your Community account.

If Studio is still picking up the old Enterprise license, disconnect the current Orchestrator/account connection and reconnect it.

Hi @prasadvinay27,

This looks like a licensing issue after the Enterprise trial expired. You can try switching your account back to the UiPath Community/Free plan.

  1. Sign in to UiPath Automation Cloud.
  2. Go to Admin → Licenses and check the license assigned to your account.
  3. Sign out from UiPath Studio and UiPath Assistant completely.
  4. Close Studio/Assistant and sign in again with the same Community account.
  5. If the old Enterprise license is still being used, disconnect the existing Orchestrator/Automation Cloud connection and reconnect it.

You can also follow the video shared above for the downgrade/switching steps.

Hope this helps! :+1:

Hi @prasadvinay27,

Welcome to the community.

You need to use the Community version. You cannot get an Enterprise trial on this account again.

For developing workflows in Studio, you need an Automation Developer license. Currently, you have an Express User license, so you cannot use Studio Desktop. However, you can use Studio Web.

Thanks!

There is no direct option to change license type. You will have to delete the organisation you created while signing up and create a new one.

Once the organisation is recreated, you will get Community license and you will be able to use studio.

Remember, when you will delete the organisation, all data will be lost so make sure you take back up wherever possible.

Hi @prasadvinay27 ,
Your Enterprise trial license may have expired, which is why Studio is showing a license error. Try switching your account to the Community plan from UiPath Automation Cloud. If that option isn’t available, contact UiPath Support to have the licensing on your account checked.

Thanks
