Debug request to retrieve Outlook or Gmail mails times out

Dear,

My request to gather outlook or Gmail mails always time out on both of them, I recoded and swapped them around but no succes.

What I did:

Fill in all details with IMAP and went into settings in Google mail itself for IMAP settings.
Problem with this: imap server is never found due to protection settings

Made an alias with outlook on that Gmail in hope that the retrieve outlook messages command can find the mails.
problem: time out

Tried to set a higher time, till time out error, still didn’t work… Used 30000 ms (max I’ve tried).

What I guess is it’s Google’s problem and I would probably have to make a new solely MS Outlook account to make it work?

Check if any Antivirus is blocking the request?

I use win defender and haven’t really seen any issues in it…

I found the issue, I had to implement said email adress into Orchestra and make an App password through Google security and then it worked!

Now it faulted somewhere else (just in my own code) so I will be able to work on it further!

Anyways thanks for your fast response first although that wasn’t the solution your fast response was appreciated!
