Hi,
i have read from an excel file the date with dd.mm.yyyy(E.g, 25.05.2017) and i want to enter this date with the same formation in an application it doesnt work. i tried your coversion, it doesn’t work too. I add a write line activity to see what kind of date do i receive. This formation 25/05/2017 00:00:00 appears on Output panel. Could you please suggest me, how to solve this problem.
with best regards
jawad

I do not get what is so funny honesty. What am I missing?

Date.parseExact("25/05/2017 00:00:00","dd/MM/yyyy hh:mm:ss",Nothing).toString("dd/MM/yyyy")

hope this will works @sjawadaf

i appreciate you for your response !!!

try a writeline with Now.ToString(“YYYYMMDD”) and see the output
You might not die laughing tho…

Hi,
You could Try “.ToshortDateString” function to convert the Descriptive date format to Numerical Date format

Keep up…!!!
THE ROBOTS ARE COMING

right answer purpose served also use----- DateTime.parseExact(“05-05-2017”,“dd-MM-yyyy”,Nothing).ToLongDateString —Answer will be 05 May 2017
