Data retained by UIPath?

Is any data retained by UIPath when we set up bots for e.g. screen scraping? Can we use confidential data?

I don’t think any data is passed to the UiPath. Your data like screenshots for the elements are stored in the respective .screenshot folder under your package. Yes you can use confidential data for automation.

In other way, you may have to control some of your confidential data in the way you design your workflow.
