Data Driven Testing

Hi,
I saw the demo videos of Uipath Test Suite. I am interested in exploring data driven testing, but I am unable to understand how to integrate the data variations in my sequence. While running I have the option to select what are the test data I want to execute. But how should I integrate with my code. Do I have to use normal excel manipulation to retrieve the data or is there any other specific approach to get the data from test data file.?
