DAP-DT-2002 Error - ServiceNow Object Not Accessible in Get Record Activity

How to solve similar ServiceNow activity errors 'The object 'u_ecpsc_request' is no longer accessible on the current connection. Please verify your permissions, or choose a valid object from this connection, or select a connection that includes this object. Error code: DAP-DT-2002. ' while using UiPath.IntegrationService.Activities package

Issue Description

When using an existing ServiceNow connection from Integration Service in the Get Record activity within UiPath Studio desktop, users encounter the following error:

'The object 'u_ecpsc_request' is no longer accessible on the current connection. Please verify your permissions, or choose a valid object from this connection, or select a connection that includes this object. Error code: DAP-DT-2002.'

This occurs specifically when attempting to access the u_ecpsc_request table (Request /sc_request), but can happen with any ServiceNow table object.

Symptoms

  • The connection was previously working, but now fails

  • An error appears when selecting or using the specific table object

  • Other connections or tables may still work properly

  • The error persists even after retrying the operation

Root Cause

The DAP-DT-2002 error occurs in UiPath Integration Service when the connection to ServiceNow cannot locate or access the specified table. This typically happens due to one of the following reasons:

  1. Stale Connection - The existing connection in Integration Service has expired or become invalid

  2. Table Deletion/Renaming - The ServiceNow table (u_ecpsc_request) has been deleted, renamed, or modified

  3. Permission Changes - User permissions for the ServiceNow account have been revoked or altered

  4. Connection Configuration Changes - The connection settings in Integration Service have been modified

Affected Versions

  • All UiPath Studio versions using Integration Service

  • All ServiceNow connector versions

Resolution

1. Re-authenticate the Connection with a user that is a ServiceNow admin (Most Common Fix)

  • Go to UiPath Automation Cloud.

  • Navigate to Integration Service > Connections New Connection > specify ServiceNow

  • Fill out client ID etc. fields on 'Connect to ServiceNow' screen

  • On the next screen, where you Allow the connection, have your ServiceNow admin remote in, enter their credentials (interactive user with appropriate roles)

2. Verify ServiceNow User Permissions

The user account used to create the connector needs specific read/write access to the table in ServiceNow. Ensure the user has:

  • Read access to the sys_db_obj table.

  • Read access to sys_db_obj.* (all fields on the table).

  • The personalize_dictionary role.

  • CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) permissions for the u_ecpsc_request table.

3. Refresh the Integration Service ServiceNow Schema in UiPath Studio

If the table was recently modified, added, or deleted in ServiceNow, the schema cached in UiPath Studio may be outdated.

  • Open the project in UiPath Studio.

  • Locate the ServiceNow activity (e.g., 'Insert Record' or 'Update Record').

  • Click on the Refresh button within the activity properties to update the table list.

4. Check for Table Deletion or Renaming

Verify within ServiceNow that the table u_ecpsc_request still exists and has not been renamed or deleted. If it is a custom table, ensure the prefix u_ is correct.

Summary Checklist

Action

Purpose

Refresh Connection

Fixes expired credentials/invalid token.

Check Permissions

Ensures user can access u_ecpsc_request.

Update Schema

Refreshes UiPath's memory of the table.

If the issue persists, try deleting the connection in Integration Service and creating a new one. For the needed credentials, check with the internal ServiceNow admin.

Update the UiPath.IntegrationService.Activities package to 1.23.0

Add a fresh new activity for ServiceNow from the UiPath.IntegrationService.Activities package -> select the targeted object.

Prevention

  • Regularly review and refresh Integration Service connections

  • Maintain documentation of ServiceNow table structures and changes

  • Implement change management for ServiceNow table modifications

  • Monitor permission changes in your ServiceNow instance
