Custom Groups and Roles - Error for https://cloud.uipath.com/ORG_NAME/TENANT_NAME/orchestrator_/odata/Features/UiPath.Server.Configuration.OData.GetFeatureFlags(): 401 OK.- Automation Cloud

Hi everyone,

I’m currently migrating from an on-premises Orchestrator infrastructure to UiPath Automation Cloud, and I’ve encountered an issue with custom groups that I hope the community can help me with.

The problem is:
When recreating the custom groups I previously had on-premises, all users assigned to those groups receive a 401 error (.GetFeatureFlags) when attempting to access the tenant itself. This is happening with every user in any custom group, including those who were previously members of the built-in Admin group and had full access through that membership.

The groups are created at the organization level and has roles assigned at both the organization level and the tenant level. Also, i’ve assigned internal Orchestrator permissions, folder roles and permissions.

I’ve already tried recreating the groups from scratch and granting the tenant and orchestrator administrator role to the custom groups. Both were unsuccessful.

Additional info:
The same affected users, when added directly to the built-in Admin group can log in without issues. It occurs specifically with custom groups.
I have already opened a support ticket and attached a .har log file for further analysis, yet, without a succesful approach

Has anyone experienced this during migration? Any insights would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

If you have this error Http failure response for UiPath .

Try this for at least one impacted user:

  • Navigate to Orchestrator > Tenant > Manage Access.
  • Select the affected user.
  • Click on the three dots and choose “Edit.”
  • Set the UI profile to “Standard.”
  • Save the changes.
  • Ask the user to sign out and sign back in.

I don’t even know how to thank you properly for this, really. I was trying to fix it with UiPath Support for DAYS and you got it with a single tip. Thanks mate, hope you have a great day!

Welcome.
I am glad that I was able to help.
