With regards to your suggestions:
- the DU Framework allows extension capabilities - did you give them a try? among others, they also allow you to create & use your own Extractor, find samples here: GitHub - UiPath/Document-Processing-Code-Samples: Code samples for document processing activities.
- the current Data Extraction Scope allows you to set confidence scores based on which one or another extractor would be used, as detailed here - maybe give it a try & let us know if it doesn’t address your need?
