Create Teams Meeting URLs for Outlook events

Hello,

I am currently building a bot to send out Outlook Calendar events and would like to generate Teams Meeting links to be included in those events. I see one poster had a similar issue in 2020: Create Microsoft Teams Meeting URLs

However it does not look like a complete solution. Any help/guidance would be much appreciated.

Hi @Travis_Mercante
They use the API to create the event in Microsoft Teams and send the invite link as the body of the event in Outlook calendar.

Hello, how would I get the invite link though? That is my main issue

If you call the GRAPH API like chaz.jenkins does in the referenced post:

Here’s how you populate the UiPath HTTP activity for MS Teams Create onlinemeeting (for beta and v1.0)

The API Response, according to Create onlineMeeting - Microsoft Graph v1.0 | Microsoft Learn should include a link (joinWebUrl):

HTTP/1.1 201 Created
Content-Type: application/json

{
@odata.type”: “#microsoft.graph.onlineMeeting”,
@odata.context”: “https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/$metadata#users(‘f4053e7-85f4-f0389ac980d6’)/onlineMeetings/$entity”,
“audioConferencing”: {
“tollNumber”: “+1252578”,
“tollFreeNumber”: “+18588”,
“ConferenceId”: “24999”,
“dialinUrl”: “Conference Dial-in Numbers
},
“chatInfo”: {
“threadId”: “19:meeting_M2IzYzczNTItYzUtYmFiMjNlOTY4MGEz@thread.skype”,
“messageId”: “0”,
“replyChainMessageId”: “0”
},
“creationDateTime”: “2019-07-11T02:17:17.6491364Z”,
“startDateTime”: “2019-07-11T02:17:17.6491364Z”,
“endDateTime”: “2019-07-11T02:47:17.651138Z”,
“id”: “MSpkYzE3NjctYmZiMi04ZdFpHRTNaR1F6WGhyZWFkLnYy”,
“joinWebUrl”: “Join conversation”,

}

This can then be inserted in an email.
