Is your suggested “system package” “activity package”?
Based on the thread - What i understood is
You are free to copy activities and paste in the same project. Because the version of studio and the packages used in the same project will be same. So there is no risk of compatibility issues
On the other side - If you are copying from a different project - Make sure the versions are matching as it could create some confusions in few cases
Is the message box working now for you??
To know from which package the activities are coming - kindly mouse hover on the activity. In your case - for the message box. It is UiPath.System.Activities
Kindly make sure that the package is the latest version from Manage Packages and give a try again
