I was using the activity “CopyFile” activity to copy a Excel (xlsx) file (<10MB) from a network drive to a local address. However, I encountered error “A device attached to the system is not functioning” regularly (around 20% of the time).

Is there a way to prevent this from happening using an activity?
When you do this manually by yourself, do you get the error?
And usually how long does it take to copy the file?

Manually, this rarely happens. For execution under Robot, it happens around 20% of the time. The file is pretty small and should take less than 30s but it also depends on the internet since its from a cloud drive.

I have the same issue, I have a sharepoint folder mapped as a network drive. And when using UiPath it fails to copy/write/transfer often, with this same error message " A device attached to the system is not functioning".
