Copy/Paste Range -Activity - Copy method of Range class failed

Description

Hi There , I 4 sheets say Final , A,B,C.
A,B,C Sheets contains headers followed by Formulae’s ,My requirement here is to copy paste the data from A,B,C (Appending) to the Final Sheet after finding the index of previous sheet data.

I have been using the activity “Copy/Paste Range” which was working fine till the last week , but unfortuanately from last couple of days its started failing while copy/paste from Sheet A .

Error says – Copy/Paste Range - Copy method of Range class failed
Exception Message: Copy method of Range class failed
Copy/Paste Range - ReturnData exception type :–> System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException

Attached the activit and screenshot FYR.

Here totally i am passing 4 parameters to the Final Sheet from each sheet

1.Destination Cell
2.Destination Sheet
3.Sheet Name
4.Source Range

Could you please help here with any alternative solution ?

Note – I want the exact sheet to be copied including headers followed by formulae’s associated with it

@avinashy COMException 0x800A03EC (“Copy method of Range class failed”) happens in Excel COM automation when the target worksheet is protected, when an active cell is currently in edit mode, or when the source range is empty or invalid.

Since it started failing specifically on Sheet A, check if Sheet A contains filters, hidden rows, or merged cells that conflict with the destination area. You can also add an Activate sheet activity right before Copy/Paste Range to ensure Excel brings Sheet A to the foreground first, or try switching the activity scope to Use Excel File (Modern) where Copy/Paste Range handles clipboard locks much more reliably without throwing raw COM interop exceptions.
