I have read that Azure Open AI is data Complaint and doesn’t store data outside organization. It store data tenant level only. Can anyone explain this based on your experience on Complaince justification.
Azure OpenAI is compliant for enterprise use. All data prompts, responses, and inputs is processed within the customer’s Azure tenant and selected Azure region. The data is not shared with OpenAI and is not used to train or improve the models.
Azure OpenAI follows Azure’s standard security and compliance controls such as tenant isolation, encryption, access control, and certified compliance standards ISO, SOC, GDPR .This ensures customer data stays within the organization boundary and meets compliance requirements.
Hope it helps

Hi @rizvana.mohammed ,
I think Azure OpenAI processes all prompts and responses within your Azure tenant and chosen region, and your data is not used to train or improve any models. Data is isolated from other customers and encrypted, with only a short default retention for abuse monitoring, which can be removed by enabling zero data retention for strict compliance needs.
I will recommend to confirm this thing with your organisation’s IT team.
