Community Offline Installation says "Activation Failed"

Hi there,

I am trying to install Studio and use a Community Offline license, but I’m getting the following error:

I’ve read that there could be a temporary issue with the licensing server, causing this issue.

In the past I’ve installed Studio using the .exe installation file before, and then just selected More options > Standalone Options > Community Offline and it installs and works normally without needing to do anything else, but this time I’m getting the error.

Any help in fixing the issue / understanding the problem would be appreciated.

This option looks like deprecated and you require Orchestrator connectivity to use the Studio.

Thanks for your reply. So is there no way to use Studio without signing in with an account?

Is it possible that if the device has Ui Path installed on a separate C://Users folder on Windows that it won’t allow me to install it on a different user’s profile on Windows?

Currently it is installed in my C://Users folder and not Program Files or Program Files x86.

As per my understanding that’s right no other way but if you have enterprise license, get it 100% confirmed from UiPath Support team.

It’s because the installation is done for per user not for all users. You can try user specific installation for your current user.

If I want to approach my organization with a request to get licensing, which license would you recommend?

We don’t need to anything particularly complicated with Studio, mostly just to send emails in bulk automatically and things like that.

Thank you @yedukondaluaregala for your response. I’ve looked into this but I don’t think this is at the core of the problem. I will keep it on standby though to investigate further if necessary.

Lastly, how would I change the installation from per-user to all users in future?

I don’t have a screenshot to share but while installing the studio, you will see an option to select that you want to install it for all users or current user.
