About the user license invalidation for Community Edition users (Error code 1931)

I have been using UiPath Community Edition for several years. I run routine processes on my PC every day, but after a recent issue with my PC that required a complete OS reinstall, UiPath stopped launching.

Currently, when I try to start UiPath Assistant, the following error appears:

Message:
User license is invalid.

Error code:
1931

According to GPT, it seems that 1931 indicates there’s not much I can do on my end, but I would appreciate it if you could guide me on how to reactivate UiPath. Thank you very much.

Hello

Could you please confirm the contents of the following topic? It is about the setup of user license management in Automation Cloud and the status of license allocation.

Thank you for your prompt advice.
After referring to the topic you pointed out, I checked and found that the current settings are as follows:

Settings
→ Detailed settings screen

“User license management is already enabled for the current account.”
Region: Europe

→ License screen: Community Plan

License assignments to groups

  • Automation Developers
  • Citizen Developers
  • Automation Users
  • Automation Express
Each corresponding edit screen shows Attended, Citizen Developer, and Automation Developer as ON.

License assignments to users
The relevant username, the relevant email address, Automation Developer - named user is ON (others such as Attended and Citizen Developer are OFF).

Hello

Which version of UiPath Studio are you using? You mentioned there’s an error with Assistant, but does Studio start up normally?

Thank you for your help.

The OS remains unchanged before and after reinstalling, and I’m operating on Windows 10 Home. The UiPath I’m trying to launch seems to be version 26.0.196-cloud.23786.
When starting Assistant, the message “User license is invalid. Error code 1931” is displayed.

When starting Studio, the message “User license is invalid.” is shown.
I pressed the “copy button” next to the message at Studio startup and received the following information, which I am attaching:

“User license is invalid. Error code 1931”
When starting Studio, the following message appears: “RemoteException wrapping UiPath.Service.Orchestrator.Core.NoUserSessionException: User license is invalid.

Hello

The version on the Studio side is the latest. If there are no issues with the license settings on the Automation Cloud side, it seems that for an Enterprise license, it would be a request for activation to support.
However, in the case of a Community plan, there is no escalation route, so it might be better to recreate the organization.
Here is the link for creating a Community Plan.

I don’t know why, but it’s working now! ← I’m sorry for sounding like a total beginner… It might have been a method in a different direction than I thought.

From the dialog box that appears when starting UiPath Assistant, I went to the top right icon, then:
Preferences → Orchestrator connection → Sign out button,
and after signing out/signing in, it started up as if nothing happened…

Thank you for the advice, it was really reassuring.
