Clipboard AI wont format the date correctly

Hello all,

No matter what I do, Clipboard AI will never paste the date in the correct format.

I use the Mapper and tell it the way I want the date which is YYYY-MM-DD, it seems to understand then, when I select that format, it will then change the date format to DD-MM-YYYY

Why does it show the correct date format, then when I select it, it switches to the wrong format?

I can confirm that it does paste the date wrong in my accounting software which is using Google Chrome (web app), Invoice Ninja.

I just dont get it :frowning:

This is interesting, could you please provide some information based on below pointers so that we could investigate it together -

  1. Could you please confirm the source from which Clipboard AI is copying the date?
  2. Are all the dates being copied from the source in the same format, or is there a mix of formats?
  3. Can we have a try with different browser to rule out any external scripts in Chrome that might be altering the output? Clipboard AI supports Microsoft Edge or Mozilla Firefox.
  4. For testing purposes, use your current Mapper settings and paste the date into another application like Excel or Notepad. This will help us see if the issue is specific to the Invoice Ninja app or more general.
  5. For investigational purpose could you please confirm your system’s local and regional date format settings?
